A plethora of therapists, doctor’s appointments, and tests. Until just now I’d forgotten how terrible it was for me to have to take him to the hospital to get blood drawn twice a week.  Though I have a sister-in-law with down’s syndrome, I did not REALIZE the number of things that *can* fall under the down syndrome umbrella. Yet still, his baby sounds delight me in the mornings.  His baby softness stirs my soul. The utter and complete love I had for my firstborn son (20 years old now) is now his . . .
