Η Κυριακή Κοντογιώργου έδωσε στην τοπική ιστορία την ανθρώπινη διάστασή της μέσα από το επιστημονικά τεκμηριωμένο ερευνητικό έργο της και τη γλαφυρή της πένα. Τα κείμενά της μας βοηθούν να γνωρίσουμε και να καταλάβουμε τη συνέχεια του χρόνου στο χώρο μας. Πώς ζούσαν οι άνθρωποι, πώς σκεφτόντουσαν, τι πάθαιναν. Έτσι να μη ξεχνάμε, όχι τα σπουδαία ονόματα και τα μεγάλα συμβάντα, που και αυτά...
