Lots of old kits from the latter days of Warhammer Fantasy are being released this year, and one of them that caught my eye was the Fortified Manor. It’s a kit that I never obtained back in the day, as 1) I couldn’t justify the expense and 2) in my youthful arrogance I assumed I could build something as good or better from scratch. We’re a bit older and wiser and more affluent now, though! I got the full kit for its component parts, not to build the actual combined manor building, so I assembled those parts accordingly. I first painted the walls and fencing, as they required next to no prepping. Simple drybrushing in the main, with some selective details handled with more care. I also weather the walls with a light drybrush...
