Against Capitalism Skip to content Against Capitalism Menu Home About Contact Facebook LinkedIn Twitter Instagram «27 Ιουνίου 1906, 2μμ» ΤΑ ΓΕΓΟΝΟΤΑ Στις 13 Ιουνίου 1906, μια ομάδα βρετανών δραγόνων, επίλεκτου στρατιωτικού σώματος της βρετανικής αυτοκρατορίας, που πήγαιναν από Κάιρο προς Αλεξάνδρεια, στρατοπέδεψαν κοντά στο χωριουδάκι Ντενσουάι της επαρχίας Μενουφία, καμιά πενηνταριά χιλιόμετρα απ’ την Αλεξάνδρεια. Για να χαλαρώσουν απ’ το κοπιαστικό ταξίδι αποφάσισαν να επιδοθούν στο αγαπημένο τους σπορ, το κυνήγι ήμερων περιστεριών. Πέντε απ’ τους αξιωματικούς πήραν τα άλογά τους και κατευθύνθηκαν προς τις φτωχοκαλύβες του χωριού. Εκεί άρχισαν να ντουφεκάνε τα ήμερα περιστέρια που οι ντόπιοι φελάχοι ανατρέφανε στους περιστερώνες τους. Ένας γέροντας πήγε να τους πει να σταματήσουν αυτό που κάνανε γιατί και την προηγούμενη χρονιά το ίδιο είχαν κάνει, τους είχανε σκοτώσει τα περιστέρια, κι αυτό ήταν όλο τους το βιός. Όμως οι Βρετανοί δε του δώσα...
