By 2030, as many as 375 million workers – or roughly 14 percent of the global workforce – will need to switch occupations as digitalization, automation, and advances in artificial intelligence disrupt the world of work. And, actually, these are somewhat conservative pre-covid figures. Recent data from eight of the largest economies in the world, indicate that as much as 25 percent more workers than previously estimated may need to switch occupations within this timeframe. This is a huge transition – one that we at Akind have seen coming...
