Amlan Kar Toggle navigation Amlan Kar Home Publications Teaching Amlan Kar @cs.toronto.edu University of Toronto Biography I’m a graduate student at the University of Toronto advised by Prof. Sanja Fidler , and a Research Scientist at NVIDIA Research. I am broadly interested in Computer Vision problems and their applications, particularly in how labelled data can be collected quicker, or generated automatically. I graduated from IIT Kanpur, India in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree where I was fortunate to get to work with Prof. Gaurav Sharma and earlier with Prof. Amitabha Mukerjee . In the summer of 2017, I interned with the research team at Fyusion Inc. . Earlier, I visited Prof. Raquel Urtasun and Prof. Sanja Fidler at the University of Toronto in the summer of 2016.
