We decided to leave plenty of time as we had to be there three hours early anyway and wasn’t sure if there would be a lot of traffic. The journey to the airport was quite quick and before we knew it I was posing for my sad face photo outside international departures! It’s always weird coming home, part of me wanted to stay and continue exploring, but then I was looking forward to seeing family and the rabbits! Check in didn’t open until 3 hours before, so we headed to the toilet and then joined the queue as it looked like it was going to open soon.
