Am crezut că o vom duce așa, cu boala de rinichi și bătrânețea, încă mult și bine. Însă cu o moarte toți suntem datori, nici Mika nu a făcut excepție. Și a decis să plece din lumea asta ieri, după ce, cu o noapte înainte, a început să scoată niște sunete ca și cum nu mai putea respira. Îmi tremurau mâinile când căutam cel mai apropiat vet non-stop. Am ajuns cu ea destul de repede și-au luat-o direct, era clar că era o urgență la cum făcea. La prima vedere, avea edem pulmonar și trebuia să stea peste noapte. A doua zi, pe la 11:30, am sunat să văd ce face (consemnul era că primesc telefon dacă pătește ceva nasol) și am aflat că edemul se diminuase, dar mai trebuia încă să stea acolo.
