I don’t think it would be an exaggeration to say ‘Dapple Dandy’ is an impressionist’s dream of what a fruit should be — something out of a Monet painting, all splashes of red, green, and ivory with unbelievably beautiful pulp that changes from scarlet near the skin to a bright blush by the stone.
