If you are untutored in the history of Chinese art, they may look very similar. In many respects they are. They are all painted within about a century of each other, around the start of the Song Dynasty (960–1279). This was the period that established monumental landscape painting as a major genre in Chinese art. Differences are readily discernable too, but it would be hard to determine which differences matter from an art historical perspective without learning more. Maybe you like them; maybe you don’t.
