It’s an interesting, emerging field that explores some of the human quirks that cause traditional economic theory to fail. In the midst of procrastinating taking a break. There’s a program called Teach for America, which enlists recent graduates to teach in rural and underserved parts of America for two years. It sounds like a really great idea, and something that maybe Malaysia could use. That is, with some modifications. Instead of teaching, perhaps we could approach the education gap by offering free tuition from by recent graduates.  Such a program would call for a rigorous application process in order to select a motivated, enthusiastic, and empathetic corps of volunteers, who would need to be able to deftly deal with racial barriers (and, one would hope, begin to help get our country past those age-old prejudices at the most fundamental ...
