This is Burke, Lindsey’s husband, posting to her blog with a bit of news. After Lindsey’s untimely death from ovarian cancer last summer, I worked with some great people at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation to set up a research fund called, “Lindsey’s Legacy Fund For Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer Research” ( www.lindesyslegacyfund.ca ). We have raised over $150,000 so far to help find methods of early detection and effective treatment for this terrible disease that took Lindsey from us. As you can imagine, Lindsey had accumulated a large collection of stamping and card-making supplies during the many years she was involved in your crafting community.
