A central aspect of BCTCS is the training of PhD students, providing an environment for students to gain experience in presenting their work, to broaden their outlook on the subject, and to benefit from contact with established researchers. The next meeting of the BCTCS will be hosted by Strathclyde University from 14-16 April 2025. The most recent meeting of the BCTCS was hosted by the University of Bath from 4-5 April 2024.
