Another sublime August morning, with a decent dusting of birds. 55+ Willow Warbler adorned the umbellifers, c25 Common Whitethroat , 2 Lesser Whitethroat , my first Pied Flycatcher of the autumn was in the bushes at the S-bends, a single Wheatear was above Belle Tout Wood, overhead c200 House Martin were around the the lighthouse, in the company of c100 Sand Martin and c20 Swallow , a Tree Pipit passed over as did a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull .
