Passivity One thing God’s kept bringing me back to recently is the idea of surrender, of letting go of what I want or expect in exchange for His perfect leadership. There are some things that I have a strong tendency to clench onto, to the point of having a hard time seeing anything else. These are always things that I’ve prayed about and seen at least some revelation about. And usually things that I’ve seen essentially no movement in for long periods of time. My reaction to seeing no movement has generally been to soul search to see if I’m holding onto it so tightly I’ve begun to idolize what I want.
