Oleh sebagian besar suku dayak beriam, menyampat tahun merupakan hari yang dinanti-nantikan karena setelah sekian lama mereka istirahat mereka dapat membuat ladang kembali. Menurut salah satu tokoh adat dayak beriam (Alm.
