Keita Ohshiro Home Projects Keita Ohshiro Biography I am a PhD student at New Jersey Institute of Technology in the Department of Informatics, advised by Dr. Mark Cartwright . My research is an intersection of Design, Human-Computer Interaction and Accessiblity, with an emphasis on working with people with disabilities to understand accessibility issues and design solutions through working with them. I am currently working with people who are deaf, Deaf, and hard of hearing (DHH) to empower their creative sound activities, such as music performance and audio production. I got an M.S. in Integrated Design & Media at New York University, working closely with Dr. Amy Hurst , Dr. Luke Dubois , and Professor Benedetta Piantella . I got my B.S. in Mathematics & Computer Science at Temple University and B.A. in Liberal Arts at International Christian University.
