About Me Limerick: A street market, a castle, and an old friend. 21 Feb Fairly last minute last week I decided to accompany Taylor, Yvonne, and Aimee to Limerick. We had a place to stay–Taylor’s grandmother’s old friend whom she met in New Zealand about ten years ago. In that time they’ve visited each other in the States and in Ireland and are fast friends. Anyway, she offered to let us stay with her for the weekend and do some exploring. Limerick also happens to be the location of an old family friend: Father Tom Ryan. Remember how I mentioned my first confession in one of my earlier posts? This was him. He was a priest at my home parish in Elkhart, IN at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
