Of course, her summer update is a little more exciting than mine (US tour, prizes, just finishing her 24th book…) BUT anyway, comparison being the thief of joy and all that, let’s move on… Since I last wrote, a month ago, I have been to Norfolk for a few days R&R, which was lovely and, more recently – in fact, I got back a week today – I’ve been to the RNA (Romantic Novelists’ Association) Conference, at Royal Holloway (part of London University) in Egham, Surrey. It was originally opened by Queen Victoria in 1886 as an all-women college, hence the ‘Royal’ and it is a really fabulous building in a gorgeous setting. ...
