It is not dissimilar to the feeling you get when you finally buy a car and then you keep seeing the same car everywhere you look. I have always wondered why that was. It is entirely possible that our brain finally acknowledges their presence because we have established and associated some sort of value to them. It is interesting how we as humans are constantly fighting to be a part of something, to belong to something, while simultaneously trying to expound on the idea that we are different from everyone else.
