Everyday Chaos Thursday, July 18, 2013 8 months later… I know I said I was done blogging. I was, and I didn’t for long while. I’ve since decided that I miss some of it. I got tired of annoying my family and friends on facebook with sewing pictures all but 3 of them couldn’t care less about!  So here I am. Here are a few things that have kept me busy this month. I made Ashlyn a skirt using Simple Simon’s vintagely modern skirt as an inspiration. I changed the waist band to fit her better but next time I’ll make it shorter.  The shirt was a women’s spaghetti strap tank top jump suit that I altered, a lot! I’ve got a few new nieces and nephews on the way and hope to make a quilt for each of them. This is the first of 4. I had to send it off quickly so I folded it up and tried to jam it in a tiny package, remembered I wanted a picture so I dug it out, then put it back. That’s why it’s sooo wrinkly and folded.
