Θα ήταν δεν θα ήταν 18. Μάλλον θα είχε τελειώσει ήδη το σχολείο και θα είχε βγει στο μεροκάματο. Θυμήθηκα πώς ήμουν εγώ στα 18. Με μία λέξη; Ανέμελη. Είχα τελειώσει το λύκειο και περνούσα μία χρονιά ζάχαρη, διαβάζοντας για τις πανελλαδικές, αλλά στην ουσία, περνώντας χάρμα δίχως σχολείο, εννοείται δίχως δουλειά. Μόνη μου δουλειά ήταν να διαβάζω (όχι και να σκοτώνομαι όμως) και να πηγαίνω για καφέδες. Τότε βέβαια πλήρωνα 500 δραχμές τον φραπέ. Ή μάλλον, η μαμά τον πλήρωνε. Διότι, έτσι ήταν τα πράγματα. Δεν ήμουν η εξαίρεση, ούτε ήμουν από πλούσιο σόι. Το αντίθετο. Η μαμά έβγαζε 100 χιλιάρ...
