What breed? Well, all rabbits taste delicious. So that isn’t a great starting point but it is the point that usually bogs people down. Basically any rabbit will do. However some breeds are “known” for their meat qualities (large litters, good mothering, good meat to bone ratios, fast growing, etc) I am not going to write an exhaustive list as Rise & Shine Rabbitry’s summary of the most common breeds is amazing.
