Buttechicks Blog | Just another WordPress.com site Just another WordPress.com site Search Buttechicks Blog About The Zillionth Blog Entry About Christmas Cookies 22 Dec I like to think that I could have a fresh and original slant on the subject of Christmas cookies, but I don’t.  I can’t think of a person who doesn’t love them in any way, shape or form, and who would write a blog describing their pleasure.  And now–let me add my own delight to the thousands who have gone before me. Christmas cookies are intrinsic to the holiday.  I’m sure I gurgled in toothless delight whenI got a nibble of my Grandma Eliason’s sugar cookies; I don’t remember the first time I had one.  She would make those cookies for us all year round, mostly not frosted.  But at Christmas it ws no holds barred.  My favorite toping combo on a sugar cookie was pink buttercream frosting, red sugar and red hot candies.
