Ironic that I just wrote new short-shorts about memory editing (bcifi.org). Speaking of scifi, I saw a video with a talk from Philip K. Dick, one of the great sci fi writers ever. Effective metaphor with replacing pictures. I then spent a few more minutes wondering if I was just too dumb to understand him or he's just insane.
