I was reading through James’s blog and really liked how he broke down the areas into sections relating to PCK, TPK, RAT, and TCK. I hope he doesn’t mind if I use his idea as a way to reflect in the future! My students really loved hands on experiences, especially the science unit we did about “Floating a boat” there was no “tech” side to it, just paper, paddle pop sticks, duct tape, and straws. As a teacher this is the learning I am passionate about. We did do a little research through the IWB about how boats float or sink depending what they are made from, with weight or without so there is the transforming part I guess.
