Berpakaian sederhana tanpa simbol agama, bekerja dan beraktifitas seperti orang-orang pada umumnya, namun yang membedakan hanyalah hatinya yang senantiasa terhubung kepada Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.Kaum sufi kota ini tidak sedikit yang berprofesi sebagai engineer (insinyur), dokter, pengacara, hakim, guru, dosen, ahli keuangan, artis, politisi, pejabat dan pengusaha. Mereka hidup zuhud secara bathin, lahiriahnya nampak seperti masyarakat pada umumnya. Sufi kota ini tidak memisahkan diri dari kehidupan sosial seperti para sufi abad pertengahan. Hidup di tengah-tengah masyarakat menebar manfaat dan menyinari masyarakat dengan cahaya kebenaran, sabar dan ikhlas dalam menjalani hidup di tengah masya...
