Sambutan besar-besaran di peringkat sekolah mungkin tidak perlu - tetapi ia tetap perlu diadakan juga. Masih ada murid yang mahu meraikan dan menghargai jasa anda. Sekurang-kurangnya anda perlu membuat sesuatu supaya kewujudan dan kerja anda dirasai. Al-Mukadimah, banyak cabaran yang menanti guru bagi yang mengikuti perkembangan pendidikan semasa. Harapan yang diletakkan di bahu guru bukan sahaja daripada kelompok pelanggan iaitu ibu bapa, tetapi juga pembuat dasar, iaitu kerajaan. Bagi yang telah memenuhi tuntutan Bai'ah, anda bolehlah tersenyum pada Hari Guru ini. Maka, pada Hari Guru tahun ini, apa sahaja pengumuman - sama ada ia tokok tambah kepada gaji atau imbuhan lain - maka ia perlu disusuli dengan rasa insaf bahawa tanggungjawab mendatang bukan kepalang beratnya.
