cinema- सिलेमा cinema- सिलेमा अंधेरों में उजाले भी होंगे.. 11/15/2021 कूड़ंगल के कंकड़ इस वर्ष भारत से ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन में भेजी गई फ़िल्म में मदुरई के देहातों के सूखे मैदान हैं। दो-तीन किरदार हैं उनके साथ कैमरा आगे-पीछे , लिंगर करता , चलता रहता है. हैंड-हेल्ड और स्टेडीकैम के लंबे-लंबे शॉट्स हैं. ग़रीबी की दुनिया है तो मोस्टली किरदारों के पैर नंगे हैं , नंगे पैरों के बलुआही सूखी ज़मीन पर चलने का धम्-धम् कुछ गूंजता-सा बजता रहता है. यही आवाज़ें हैं , या फिर गुस्से , झुंझलाहट और झगड़ों की गूंजें. संवाद बहुत ज़्यादा नहीं हैं , शायद फ़िल्म की एक-चौथाई भी न हो. पसीने और ग़रीबी में सुनसान व पत्थर हो रहे चेहरों की ठहरी हुई दुनिया है. देहाती ग़रीबी के सुनसान और चेहरों का लैंडस्कैप मन में बनता , मथता रहता है. सात-आठ साल का बच्चा है वेलु , मां गोद की बेटी को लेकर नैहर निकल आई है , बेवड़ा बाप बीवी की गुस्ताखी पर तिलमिलाया हुआ है , नाराज़ है , बेटे से , ससुराल से , पूरी दुनिया से , बेटे पर अपनी भड़ासों का बोझ लादे , बेटे को साथ लेकर बीवी की खोज में निकला है , ...
