CineTipar sâmbătă, 12 ianuarie 2013 Curs de cinematograf (1932) Numele lui D. I. Suchianu în promenada timpului înceţoşat de grabnice mediatizări efemere sau îmbibat de subiecte bombastice, are mici şanse să mai fie cunoscut astăzi, dar mai bine de 50 de ani a dominat cronica şi eseistica de film din paginile publicisticii româneşti, înnobilat cu renumele de « Domnul Cinema ». Născut la Iaşi, în acelaşi an de start al dinamicului cinematograf, provenind dintr-o familie de origine armeană (numită iniţial Suchianţ), D. I. Suchianu a absolvit facultăţile de Drept şi Filosofie de la Universitatea din Bucureşti, apoi a plecat la Paris, alături de cumantul său, Mihai Ralea pentru studii politice şi economice - un parcurs tipic junilor intelectuali interbelici. Revenit în ţară în 1923 este angajat la cotidianul Adevărul unde semna zilnic rubrica « Oameni, cărţi, fapte ». Tumultul Sărindariului şi verva scrisului zilnic îl atrag din sfera severă a unui post bancar şi a redat culturii...
