I would go through the list of things, but none of that really matters. I made a lot of sacrifices in order to be happy, and I would love to say that it has all worked out. Unfortunately, it has not. I have historically been hopelessly optimistic about how there is always something positive to learn from any experience no matter what the actual outcome of that experience. I do believe that still, to a degree. However, I am starting to realize that sometimes things don’t work out and sometimes the effects are negative and long lasting.
