Cristian Romero Cristian Romero About Me In my research, I explored the expressive and efficient simulation of deformable objects, combining physics-based models with data-driven techniques. I am interested in subjects related to computer graphics, physical simulation, differential geometry, discretization schemes, reduced order modeling or numerical optimization. I completed my PhD in the Multimodal Simulation Lab at King Juan Carlos University in Spain, supervised by Professor Miguel Otaduy and co-supervised by Dan Casas . Previously I received a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of the Basque Country, and completed a master's degree in Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality and Games. I had the opportunity of working at Meta during my studies, developing real-time simulation models, and at Google, on the realistic integration of avatars in virtual environments.
