This post was inspired by a similar question on Stackoverflow . Step 1 Create a new keystore: keytool -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -keystore keystore.jks Step 2 Generate a CSR and submit it to GoDaddy: keytool -certreq -v -alias tomcat -file myrequest.csr -keystore keystore.jks Step 3 Download from GoDaddy the zip containing the certificate files ( domain.crt , gd_bundle-g2-g1.crt and gdig2.crt – you will basically ignore the gdig2.crt file) and create a PKCS12 keystore: keytool -importkeystore -srckeystore keystore.jks -destkeystore keystore.p12 -deststoretype PKCS12 openssl pkcs12 -in keysto...
