Total devastation was seen in some areas, including the town my in-laws live in. Luckily, they weren’t at home (MIL is out of state, FIL was volunteering) when the tornado ripped through their neighborhood. Their home was badly damaged but most of it was on the exterior and most of their things are ok. Some of their neighbors lost everything. Thinking that we would have an overnight guest, I cleaned my house like a madwomen while my dad and husband helped his father pack things up to move to safety.
