Shortlisted for the 2019 Pat Lowther Memorial Award. BIO Dani Couture is the author of four collections of poetry and the novel Algoma (Invisible Publishing). Her work has been nominated for the Trillium Award for Poetry and the Pat Lowther Memorial Award, received an honour of distinction from the Writers’ Trust of Canada’s Dayne Ogilvie Prize for Emerging LGBTQ Writers and won the ReLit Award for Poetry. Her work has appeared in Poetry , Boston Review , The Awl , Ambit , Dark Horse , The Walrus , This Magazine , The Fiddlehead , The Puritan , Arc and others. She was the literary editor at This Magazine from 2013 – 2017. Her most recent collection of poetry is Listen Before Transmit (Wolsak & Wynn, 2018).
