Home About Latest Overland. In January this year I hiked the Overland Track in Tasmania, Australia with Susie , Mardi & Thomas. We took 7 days, camping & hutting. It is a crazy beautiful hike and I recommend it to anyone & everyone. It was the closest I’ve ever felt to being in a place untouched by humans. Captivating beauty anywhere you look at all times. Zero impact policy meant no rubbish bins anywhere. You take out everything you take in – food scraps, wrappers etc. – No hair products / shower products to be used anywhere. Baby wipes only if need be, then pack your used ones and take them with you. DO NOT STEP OFF THE PATH. Need to shit? get out your shovel. Follow guidelines for correct depth of hole – All worth it when you look around and all you can see is nature how it should be. This is a selection of some of my 35mm photographs taken on a Zeiss Ikon along the way. Posted by danniogilvie  |  June 22, 2013 | Categories: Film Photography , ...
