Ada gebrakan baru dari pengurus PGRI untuk peringatan tahun ini yaitu melaksanakan upacara peringatan secara terpisah dengan hari KORPRI yang biasanya bersamaan pelaksanaannya, tempat upacara pun tidak dihalaman DR.MURJANI (kebanggaan orang Banjabaru), tetapi di SMA N 3 Bjb yang berlokasi di daerah Cempaka (penghasil Intan) Semoga guru-guru di Banjarbaru dapat mengasilkan peserta didik yang berkualitas baik akademik maupun non akademik seperti sebutir intan yang bersinar walau didalam lumpur sekalipun Upacara hut PGRI kali ini benar-benar beda karena kota Banjarbaru diguyur hujan yang lumayan membasahi hampir seluruh wilayah, namun semangat dan kemauan untuk melaksanakan peringatan tersebut tetap ada, walaupun dengan seadanya, dan hal ini menunjukkan bahwa guru patut dikatakan sebagai pahlaw...
