Nine year-old Laurence Brannum disappeared from a beach in Santa Maria, California on April 15th. The last time anyone saw Reachelle Smith of Minot, North Dakota, she was three years old. That was in 2006. Today marks seven years since one year-old Ta’Niyah Leonard was taken from her home in Bartow, Florida. Don’t feel bad if you haven’t heard about any of these cases, I hadn’t either until I saw them listed in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children database while researching this article.
