In the early 90s, I was the Director of the Leadership Training Institute of Episcopal Renewal Ministries. It was a great time in our lives living and working with the team of people who made up this ministry. However, one source of pain for me was my son. His life had gone off track and our relationship had gone to hell. Nothing I could say or do seemed to help him and that is a great deal of pain for a anyone but especially for a pastor.
