Come tutti gli anni all'arrivo della bella stagione inizia l'acceso dibattito con tanto di risse sulla proclamazione del gelato più bono di Roma. E mentre persino le maledizioni del "bio", del "chilometro zero" e del "vegan" si abbattono sul caro vecchio cono, glorificato dalla pretenziosa origine delle materie prime, (perchè se il pistacchio non è di Bronte e la nocciola non è del Piemonte allora so' cazzi amari) fortunatamente esiste ancora una tradizione che sopravvive ferma e imperturbabile all'interno dell'austero "palazzo del freddo" di via Principe Eugenio.
