Wednesday, January 16, 2008 Πως έκοψα το τσιγάρο Από τα δεκαεπτά μου κάπνιζα. Μετά τα είκοσι έγινα βαρύς καπνιστής και μετά τα τριάντα (δουλειά! σκοτούρες!) είχα φτάσει να φουμάρω τέσσερα πακέτα την ημέρα. Ένα πρωί, μετά από ξενύχτι, πνίγηκα στον τσιγαρόβηχα. Ορκίστηκα να μην ξαναβάλω τσιγάρο στο στόμα μου – και κράτησα τον όρκο μου. Επί μήνες όμως κυκλοφορούσα με πακέτο και αναπτήρα για να μη νιώσω τον πανικό της στέρησης. Ένιωσα όμως τον πανικό της εξάρτησης. Η νικοτίνη δεν αστειεύεται. Την τρίτη μέρα έτρεμαν τα χέρια μου. Είχα και μία δύσκολη συνάντηση με τον πιο δύστροπο πελάτη μου. Ήταν αδύνατο να αντέξω. Ζήτησα συγγνώμη, έφυγα από την συνάντηση και ξαναγύρισα σε δέκα λεπτά με καπνοσακούλα και τσιμπούκι. Το τσιμπούκι στάθηκε το όχημα της αποτοξίνωσης. Επί δύο χρόνια τραβιόμουνα με αυτό – ξόδεψ...
