Sejak kemunculan era digital, ramai yang dapat menceburi bidang digital photography dengan mudah. Selain dari banyak kebaikan yang diperolehi, digital photography juga mempunyai keburukan yang tersendiri. Banyak perkara-perkara asas dari segi ilmiah photograhy itu sendiri tidak dititik-beratkan oleh pengguna. Walaupun pihak pengeluar ada menyediakan manual, namun kebanyakan dari pengguna langsung tidak meluangkan masa untuk memahami isi kandungannya. Apatah lagi, dengan kemerosotan penguasaan Bahasa Inggeris dikalangan masyarakat Malaysia telah mengerohkan lagi keadaan.
