Jeden Tag kann ich mich beim Rasieren, Zähneputzen oder wenn ich zwischendurch Zeit und das Bedürfnis habe, in zwei Flügeltüren spiegeln. Das Spiegelschränkchen gehört nicht mir, es hing schon dort, als ich in meine derzeitige Wohnung einzog, die früher als Hotelzimmer vermietet wurde und daher einen hohen Besucherdurchlauf hatte. Aus diesem Grund wurde das Spiegelschränkchen wohl nicht immer gut gepflegt; im Laufe der Jahre ist es verstaubt. Die Staubpartikel haben sich auf der Oberfläche und in den Ritzen der Scharniere abgesetzt. Auch hartnäckiges Wischen und gute Pflege meinerseits können dem Schränkchen nicht mehr den alten Glanz zurückgeben, den es einmal hatte, so sehr ich es auch versuche.
