As a statistician, I specialise in Bayesian and computational statistics, with a particular focus on building complex modelling workflows and pipelines. I’ve published extensively on all aspects of the Bayesian workflow, including prior specification, model criticism, model checking, and both exact and approximate inference. I’ve worked extensively on developing new approximate inference methods, Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, and methods for assess the quality of approximations to posterior distributions.
