たった五文字の追伸 | GREETINGS FROM DUCK STREET 3 たった五文字の追伸 GREETINGS FROM DUCK STREET 3 ホーム About this weblog. jump to navigation 『SUPER FOLK SONG ～ピアノが愛した女～』 2017/01/07 Posted by Master in 未分類 . add a comment 矢野顕子さんが1992年に発表した”SUPER FOLK SONG”というアルバムのレコーディング風景を捉えたドキュメンタリー・フィルム。 制作当時に公開されたフィルムがリマスターされて、期間限定で再公開されると聞き、前売り券を押さえた上で、公開初日に新宿まで観に行って来ました。 矢野さんが愛する歌の数々を、ピアノの弾き語りで、しかも編集無しの一発録りで作品化するという、聞くだに恐ろしい挑戦をしたアルバムが”SUPER FOLK SONG”です。 収められているのはムーン・ライダース、大貫妙子、THE BOOM、佐野元春、ヤング・ラスカルズ、山下達郎らのカバーとパット・メセニー書き下ろしの新曲（当時）など全13曲。 アルバムを聴いた時には録音風景には思いが及ばず、ただただ古今の名曲の矢野顕子流解釈に感心しきりでした。しかし今回、その録音風景を目の当たりにして、彼女の音楽への真摯な愛情ゆえの厳しさを、衝撃的に見せつけられました。 完成してリスナーに提示される音源だけを聴けば、ああ矢野顕子楽しそうに歌ってるなぁ、という印象ですが、レコーディングの現場は産みの苦しみと言うか、一発録音にかける緊張感というものが、観ているこちらが息苦しくなるくらいに迫ってきます。思うような歌い回しができない、ピアノのミスタッチ、自らを追い込むプレッシャー、こんな風に苛立ち、苦悶する矢野顕子を見たのは初めてです。 もちろん、カメラは苦しみの表情だけを写し取るだけではなく、会心のテイクが録れた瞬間の輝くような笑みも見せてくれます。息を呑んでスクリーンを見つめていたこちらも、彼女が”I got it!”と声をあげると共にフーッと息をつく感じで、まるでレコーディング現場に同席しているような臨場感でした。 事前に”SUPER FOLK ...
