ECORETAN About us What we offer Contact cs de en Menu About us ECORETAN s.r.o. is a Czech company specialized in the development and implementation of technological procedures of chemical recycling of waste polyurethanes. Polyurethane belongs to top ten world mass produced polymers and its consumption worldwide is more than 10 billion tons annually. The waste related to its usage ends up mostly in dumping areas or waste incineration plants and therefore represents a massive environmental damage. Our goal is to change this situation and not only create new technologies to chemically recycle polyurethane waste but also to implement them, thus achieving a balance between ecology and economy. The recycling technology we have developed is able to recycle waste foam polyurethane into a recycled polyol, so called ECO RETAN green polyol® , which is applicable back to a new polyurethane system instead of the original polyol produced from a crude oil.
