Saat seseorang menggambil peran sebagai PENYEBAB atau yang mendesain hidupnya, maka dunia pun tidak akan sama lagi. Ini termasuk menyebabkan dan menjadi yang mengendalikan emosinya, entah yang menyenangkan atau tidak. Entah yang memotivasi atau tidak. Setelah mempelajari dan mendalami NLP, kita jadi paham bahwa motivasi adalah self-motivation alias ditimbulkan sendiri. Emosi yang kita sebut sebagai negatif pun adalah kreasi sendiri. Maksudnya?
