An Ed's Eye View – Witterings and Ramblings on theology, philosophy and politics. Skip to content Menu An Ed's Eye View Witterings and Ramblings on theology, philosophy and politics. Some Publications This is just a short post to alert folks who follow this blog about a couple of articles I’ve had published this year. The first is a piece on Wittgenstein’s religious philosophy called The Sacred Fire, which can be found here . It basically argues that Wittgenstein’s sense of God’s transcendence has the effect of reflexively disrupting any concept we might use to think and communicate God, especially that of ‘unity.’ The second is on doctrine—what it has been thought to be, its effects, and so on. This one’s called Another Nature of Doctrine, and can be found here . If anyone happens to click these links, not have access to the articles, and want to read them, please don’t hesitate to email me! By Ed Watson in Philosophy , Theology September 2, 2021 S...
