A basic one-gear affair, this bicycle is best suited to cruising through the flat streets of Luang Prabang proper, where even the cars rarely exceed 15 miles per hour. When trying to ride in a way I consider fun, i.e., slightly fast, I find the pedals spinning fruitlessly, and occasionally hear a disturbing clacking noise from the drive train.
