Ένας δρόμος που οδηγεί σε μια άγνωστη πόλη,φωτογραφίες εν κινήσει,cinegraphs,η τρελή και άγρια ελπίδα πως στο τέλος της μέρας όλα θα πάνε καλά,ακόμα και αν είσαι μόνος,ολομόναχος. Μες από ένα παράθυρο αυτοκινήτου να κοιτάζεις τους κόσμους να περνούν... ΄΄Είναι τα σύννεφα που σε ξελογιάζουν,είναι τα σύννεφα!΄΄ Παλιές σιδηροδρομικές γραμμές,μίλια ολόκληρα μέχρι το βάθος του ορίζοντα,ένα πουλί μοιάζει να τις ακολουθεί,μια μεγάλη παρέλαση από μαύρα δέντρα,παράξενα,λιγνά δέντρα,σαν στοιχειά. Η στιγμή που ποθείς ένα κρύο φθινοπωρινό πρωινό,ηλιόλουστο μα παγερό και πέρα μακριά μια φιδίσια ομίχλη να σηκώνεται αργά πάνω απ τη γή... Ακίνητες,ερημικές εξοχές. Απόψε δε θα σταματήσω πουθενά,θα οδηγώ όλη τη νύχτα,προς τα δυτικά,΄΄ο δρόμος πάντα οδηγούσε δυτικά΄΄,ταμπέλες που φωσφορίζουν,ένα πρατήριο δίχως φώς,δε ξέρω αν είμαι στην Καλιφόρνια ή κάπου στα Βαλκάνια,τα παλιά σπίτια,οι θλιβεροί τοίχοι,ένας κήπος σκ...
